Hi all - I just wanted to share with you that the winners for the 77th Annual Writer's Digest Competition were announced and two of the 4 stories I
submitted placed. Here were the results:
"The Watch Tower" was #22 in Genre Fiction.
"Spontaneous Decision" was #8 in Mainstream/Literary. (A shocker for me because I didn't expect it to do as good as it did!) I won a deluxe edition of Writer's Market, A year's subscription to Writer's Digest, and $25.00.
I would encourage everyone who reads this to consider submitting to the contest. It's a good way to earn writing credentials for query letters and to recognize your writing. The 78th Annual Competition is now excepting entries through May this year.
